Marylebone Farmers’ Market

Down in rural Marylebone we have a Farmers’ Market on Sundays and boy is it popular.

It’s covered in earth in Marylebone

Lots of carrots and spuds covered in earth; lots of cheese; sympathetically farmed meat  and occasionally a massive hog roast – the only reason in my book for going. In the age of COVID-19, queues snake around the narrow streets, almost joining up with the one outside Waitrose, where the carrots are not so earthy.

On the website, see the massive array of produce and of course it is a local spectacle in its own right – especially the customers. It is a great vantage point to play the whinger game, or spot the optimist which is a much tougher gig.
